Statesmanship Club

Statesmanship Club offers a blend of “Transition to Scholar” and “Scholar” elements designed for youth, ages 12-18.

Teens need quality mentoring and peer support! Members learn to become Statesmen and women, servant leaders, and good friends as they explore our government system and participate in book colloquia and service projects, fulfilling the mission statement: “To promote the principles of good government, restore moral leadership and practice the art of successful relations.” Weekly meetings are held from September through May.

Meetings facilitate The Statesmanship Club Certification Program by offering opportunities to receive training and participate in:

  • Public speaking & speech competitions
  • Parliamentary procedure
  • The 28 Principles of Liberty
  • Courtroom etiquette and procedure
  • Mock Trial program
  • Simulations
  • Fieldtrips
  • Colloquia
  • Service to their community
Statesmanship Club enjoys alliances with:
  • Toastmasters International
  • National Association of Parliamentarians
  • Utah Law-Related Education
